DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HOBART
Welcome to "Van Diemen's Land!" Schedule flights to arrive by 4 pm. Please meet your Tour Director at your leisure in the hotel lobby from 2.00pm - 5.30pm to complete the tour check-in process. Later, join your Tour Director and travelling companions for a welcome meeting and drinks, featuring local Tasmanian wines and spirits.
DAY 2: HOBART. EXCURSION TO BRUNY ISLAND
Hobart: Visit the famous Salamanca Market with a chance to meet artisans and taste fresh local produce. Time to explore on your own, grab a coffee, and do some shopping. Evening at leisure.
Bruny Island: (Local Favourite) Enjoy a tasting tour of this rugged island that may include local specialties such as fresh oysters, cheeses, berries, and more.
DAY 3: HOBART - MT FIELD NATIONAL PARK - LAKE ST CLAIR NATIONAL PARK - STRAHAN
Mt Field National Park: Sightseeing including the walk to Russell Falls.
Lake St Clair National Park: Visit the Wall in the Wilderness art project, sightseeing.
Strahan: Following dinner, the remainder of your evening is at leisure.
DAY 4: STRAHAN - CRADLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
Strahan: Scenic cruise on the Gordon River and into the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage area.
Cradle Mountain National Park: Following dinner, the remainder of your evening is at leisure.

DAY 5: CRADLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
Cradle Mountain National Park: Sightseeing including a visit to the majestic Dove Lake. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy more of the park on your own. This evening, enjoy a (Local Favourite) special behind-the-scenes visit to the Devils@Cradle to learn about this rescue centre devoted to saving the endangered Devils.
DAY 6: CRADLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK - SHEFFIELD - LAUNCESTON - FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK
Sheffield: Sightseeing to see the town's famous murals.
Launceston: Visit the scenic Cataract Gorge, tour and tasting at Josef Chromy Vineyard.
Freycinet National Park: Evening at leisure following dinner at the resort.
Accommodation Spotlight: Spend 2 nights overlooking the blue waters of Great Oyster Bay with the rugged Hazards Mountains as your backdrop. Located inside Freycinet National Park, you will fall in love with this captivating escape at Freycinet Lodge.
DAY 7: FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK
Freycinet National Park: Morning cruise including the extraordinary Wineglass Bay and visit to the Cape Tourville Lighthouse. The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy the resort or explore on your own. From the Lodge you can easily enjoy a number of short, accessible walks within Freycinet National Park or you may want to consider the more challenging Wine Glass Bay hike for amazing views.
DAY 8: FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK - HOBART
Hobart: Afternoon at leisure. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant featuring fresh seafood and local wines. Enhance your free time in Hobart with a visit to David Walsh's unique Museum of New and Old Art (MONA).
DAY 9: HOBART
Your holiday ends with breakfast this morning. You may also choose to extend your time in Hobart and explore more on your own. Extra nights are available for purchase.
